Wide selection of press fittings for the industry

When it comes to press fittings, ROYKON AS has a wide range of O-rings, T-pieces, unions, hex nipples, end caps and hex bushings. We sell a variety of press fittings suitable for industrial installations with demineralized or softened water. Our press fittings are made of either acid-proof stainless steel (AISI 316) or regular steel. AISI 316 is known for its great resistance to corrosion compared to regular steel and therefore it is called acid-proof, stainless steel. If you plan on using your press fittings under very harsh conditions, you should choose press fittings made of AISI 316 acid-proof and stainless steel. This could be industries where the machines and the components are in direct contact with saltwater or chemicals or industries with a high, frequent level of cleaning like the food industry.

Press fittings made of EPDM-rubber or Viton-rubber

When you choose your press fittings it is crucial that you choose press fittings in the right materials most suitable for your needs. We sell O-rings in both EPDM-rubber and Viton-rubber, each with its own unique qualities. EPDM-rubber is a synthetic type of rubber and it is a very smooth and flexible material. Therefore, it withstands temperatures down to -45°C. The higher temperature, the more flexible it is. EPDM-rubber is resistant to most chemicals, but it is not recommended to use in direct contact with gasoline or other solvents. If you are going to use the O-rings in connection with water or lubricants, then we recommend you looking at our Viton-rubber O-rings. Viton-rubber has an incredible tear strength and durability. Furthermore, it withstands temperatures from -20°C to +200°C. You are always welcome to contact us by phone on +45 75 945 955 or send an e-mail to post@roykon.dk
